Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge 2025

Following on from Romsey Mill's brilliant Yorkshire Three Peaks (Y3P) challenges in 2023 and 2024, we are planning a third Y3P Challenge for 2025!

This 25-mile walking challenge, involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough; and has helped to raised over £15,000 in individual sponsorships to help fund the vital work of Romsey Mill.

Here are some of the highlights of our previous challenges:

Our third Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge will take place on the weekend of 16th - 18th May 2025, staying in a bunkhouse in Chapel-le-Dale, right next to the Y3P Route.

The walk will be on Saturday 17th May, 2025, supported by our fantastic mountain guides.

Youth Development Team

Romsey Mill's Youth Development Team engages with young people (aged 10 - 21 years) across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, to help them live fulfilling lives and inspire change in the world around them.
Cara Coffee

Cara Coffee is a social enterprise run through a partnership with Great Shelford Free Church to support the work of Romsey Mill. The coffee shop on 29 High Street, Great Shelford, is run by amazing volunteers, and is a community hub serving delicious ethically sourced coffee, drinks and food.
Community facilities

Romsey Mill has various community rooms and facilities available for hire at Romsey Mill Centre (the charity's own building) and at Ross Street Community Centre.
Our Pre-school

Our Early Years programme includes two pre-school locations for 2 - 4 year olds.
Young parents

The Young Parents Programme is a leading provider offering support and friendship for teenage and young people in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. The support includes home visits, individual support, antenatal classes tailored for young parents, peer support and child development, education and further training.
Training

We are passionate about empowering passionate people to provide good quality youth work. We currently offer training for the Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (running from Monday 26th February- Monday 10th June 2024), which is suitable for current and future youth workers to develop new skills and gain qualifications.
