 LEAD YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER – LINTON

In partnership with The Beacon Trust

 

This role offers a highly enthusiastic and passionate youth worker the opportunity to lead an area team and be actively engaged in both church and community environments.  You will pioneer, engage in, and develop, community based youth activities building relationships ‘at risk’ young people (10-21) supporting them to overcome challenges and live fulfilling lives.  You will provide opportunities for young people to explore deepen and express their faith with particular focus on discipling young people of Linton Free Church and St Marys CofE.

2 year fixed term with probable extension

37.5 hrs p/w

Salary range: £22,401-25,463

 PART-TIME ASPIRE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER

 

You will develop and deliver provision with children and young people (aged 9-19) who have high functioning Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs) across Cambridge city and the surrounding area supporting them to overcome challenge, and develop social skills and emotional wellbeing. You will work as part of a team of youth workers and volunteers to deliver weekly social groups, shared interest groups, one-to-one work, outreach through schools, school based intervention and transfer support, trips and residential experiences that enable children and young people who are on the autistic spectrum to overcome challenge and develop personal, social and spiritual well-being.

 PART-TIME YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER - TRUMPINGTON

 

You will support the  Lead Youth Development Worker in pioneering youth work provision in Trumpington - an area experiencing rapid growth in the south of Cambridge City - supporting young people (aged 10-21) to overcome challenge, live fulfilling lives and inspire change in the world around them. You will deliver youth work sessions such as detached, one-to-one work, young-people-led group activities, open access youth clubs, school based early intervention and transfer support, alternative education and residential experiences that enable young people to overcome disadvantage, and develop personal, social and spiritual well-being.

2 year fixed term with probable extension

15 hrs p/w

Salary range:  £17,681- £19,158 pro rata

 PART-TIME PRE-SCHOOL ASSISTANT

 

Romsey Mill is a leading Cambridgeshire-based charitable organisation with a Christian ethos. This role offers a caring, enthusiastic and passionate person the opportunity to contribute to the development of Romsey Mill’s Pre-school provision. You will work with 2-4 year olds delivering early years provision that supports each child’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work as part of a team to provide a welcoming, enjoyable and stimulating environment for children, that enhances their life chances and enables them to fully belong, positively contribute and thrive.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to Romsey Mill’s values and support the Christian ethos of the organisation.

Job Description

Hours: 18hrs hrs per wk

Salary: £8.75 per hr
