Additional support for residents 


Local councils have produced some helpful information for local residents who may be affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

We have shared some of the links to support that is available:

 

Emergency access to food

In Cambridge, Food Banks are open and taking referrals and a network of community food hubs have been established. You can find your nearest hub or get a referral here:  cambridgesustainablefood.org/updates-and-info-covid-19            or call 01223 967426.

For South Cambridgeshire, the Council has set up a webpage, with details of support available for food and emergency supplies:    scambs.gov.uk/food-support

 

Financial help

If you have lost your source of income and need benefits or financial advice, your local council has pulled together a help page with details of support available and links:

Mental Health Support

Keeping your mind healthy is equally important. Self-help is available online at the following websites:

CPSL Mind has also launched Lifeline Plus which provides wellbeing support over the phone. It is available to call Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm on 0808 808 2121.
