Caroline Williams, Audit Assistant at KPMG LLP

“I have been lucky enough to use some of my CSR hours to volunteer at Romsey Mill. As a result of this I found myself sitting in a room with a couple of young women, announced as a contributor to the ‘Women of Influence’ project.  The girls questioned me on my life and career to date, my hopes and ambitions, and all of the twists and turns life had taken to get me here. They asked some fairly difficult questions!  Being grilled by them was daunting but I’m really glad I’ve done it. It was great to be able to use my CSR allowance to make a difference in the community, and it gave me food for thought as well.  I’d encourage everyone else to see what they can get involved in. You can make more of a difference than you might think!”
