Over December, we need your support to raise £12,000 to help young people facing challenges at school, at home or in the community. Together we can give them a fresh start in 2015 - learning new skills, growing in confidence and fulfilling their potential. Here is a story about how Romsey Mill provides hope, transformation and second chances for young people:
Sawston Youth Club for 11-14 year olds is run every week by Romsey Mill’s Daniel Mapstone and five young leaders aged 16-20, all of whom completed entry level youth work training over the summer. These young people are putting something back into their community by providing sports, arts, games and social space for other youngsters, who in turn may become future young leaders themselves.
