30 nights in the cold for Romsey Mill
Romsey Mill's CEO, Neil Perry is sleeping out, under canvas, to raise money for Romsey Mill and to celebrate our thirtieth birthday. You can support him by going to his Justgiving page.
Neil's response to 'Why do this in winter?' is, 'I thought it would be more of a challenge, which would mean potentially more money for Romsey Mill's work. And many of the people with whom we work face severe, ongoing challenges and disadvantages.'
Neil hopes to be sleeping out in a variety of places - gardens, church grounds, college lawns...invitations will be gratefully received and considered. He joined students in sleeping out on Parker's Piece in Cambridge on Saturday 27th November to raise money for homeless charities and will donate 10% of what he raises to Jimmy's Nightshelter in Cambridge.
Resisting the temptation of staying inside at The Hayes Conference Centre in Derbyshire, while attending a meeting there recently, Neil slept in the grounds for two nights and had to dig his way out in the morning.
Keep up to date with Neil's progress via his Justgiving page.
