Make a MINI Difference

< Back to listing

Local MINI dealer, Barons Group of Cambridge, has launched a special Christmas fundraising initiative to support Romsey Mill.

They have decorated a Mini Cabriolet as Father Christmas's sleigh, complete with the Romsey Mill logo, and will be driving around Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire - with Father Christmas and his Elf helper in tow!

The idea was the brainwave of MINI Brand Manager Craig Brooks and his team who have volunteered their time to escort Father Christmas on his travels.

Neil Perry, Chief Executive at Romsey Mill said:

“Romsey Mill is delighted to partner with Barons Group in encouraging people to make a MINI difference this Christmas, because we know that every pound donated will make a MASSIVE difference to the lives of the local young people.”

“Our work with young people, children and families, including many of the most vulnerable and at risk, is based on building long-term relationships with them. We help them grow in confidence, learn new skills and be able to inspire change in the world around them.”

“We believe that no young child or young person’s current situation should dictate their future – and we are committed to helping them be all that they can be.”

“It is brilliant when local businesses share in that vision and are willing to help contribute to making a difference to young lives, like Barons MINI have done. We really appreciate their sense of community, fun and commitment to making this great initiative happen.”
