Staff at Mills & Reeve’s Cambridge office have chosen Romsey Mill as their charity of the year.
Over the next 12 months they will be carrying out various fundraising and volunteering activities to support the charity’s work. Ian Mather, head of Mills & Reeve’s 300-strong Cambridge office, said, 'After hearing firsthand about the great work Romsey Mill are carrying out we quickly came to the decision that they would be an excellent charity to support. We look forward to working closely together with them in the coming weeks and months, both in terms of raising vital funds and, just as importantly, giving up our time to get involved in some of their inspirational work.'
Neil Perry, Chief Executive at Romsey Mill, commented, 'The business community can make a big impact by working with smaller, local charities like Romsey Mill. Mills & Reeve’s time, expertise and financial support will help us reach out to more people, creating opportunities with them to realise their potential, contribute and belong.'
Romsey Mill has also announced that Cambridge University Press, a longstanding client of Mills & Reeve, will continue to support the charity for a second year.
