Local families took to their kitchens to enter Romsey Mill’s Jubilee Cupcake Competition and cake sale on 31st May to celebrate the Jubilee and to raise about £100 for Romsey Mill.
The competition had three age groups and a Jubilee theme. It was judged by local cake expert, Avril Unwin, who also gave a demonstration in cake decoration. Cakes were available to buy and a cupcake champion was crowned in each age group, with prizes kindly donated by Cutlacks.
Neil Perry, Romsey Mill Chief Executive, said, ‘We enjoyed being part of the Jubilee celebrations, having fun and raising money for our work promoting inclusion and developing skills with young people, children and families.’
