Romsey Mill held its 3rd annual Health Fair, bringing together young people and professionals at one event. It represented a broad look at health and well being with fourteen agencies covering housing and domestic violence as well as substance use and misuse, sexual health, fitness, midwifery services and other health matters.
Rachel Briant, Young Parents Programme Coordinator, who organised the event, said, 'It's a chance for young people to gather information and to meet relevant agencies and key people. For agencies, it's also a networking opportunity, leading to even better support for young people.'
Tricia from CamQuit said, 'It's a really well organised event, where we can talk with people from other agencies and see young people again who we've met before - perhaps at antenatal classes at Romsey Mill.'
Young people were encouraged to visit all the stalls to talk to representatives, collecting stickers for the chance to choose a prize, as well as to sample the delicious healthy drinks and smoothies at Judith's Juicy Juice Bar.
