Graffiti art transforms space

< Back to listing

The children’s bedrooms at Haviland Way Care Home in North Arbury looked out on to an uninspiring blank wall. In May, this wall was transformed by seven young people from Netherhall (Year 10) as part of their Level 1 Arts Award course.

With support from an artist from SIN Cru, they worked hard to produce an eye-catching design that could be used to fill the space. They then worked together, armed with graffiti spray cans, to make their design a reality. The effect was fantastic and both the children and the workers are delighted with the results.
