Co-op Community Fund Celebration

Back in June 2017 Romsey Mill was selected by our cluster of five local Co-op stores to be able to benefit from the Co-op Community Fund.

This is the first time we had applied to be included in the 6 month voting period and the project we submitted was to renovate our Community Sport's Hall, which was in desperate need of repair and decoration.

We are please to say, a huge number of Co-op members voted for our project.  On Saturday 25th November we were invited to take part in a Community Fund celebration and we are delighted to have been presented with a cheque for £8146.00.  This is an amazing result and we would like to thank all those who voted for us.

In addition to this we have heard that our second application for a 12 month Co-op Community Fund period has been accepted. This time we are wanting to raise money for a new Romsey Mill Minibus. We currently have two minibuses but they are both very old and really need replacing. This fundraising appeal could help us get nearer that goal.
