Students from Romsey Mill’s Alternative Education programme profiled their art work at the Cambridge Art Salon from the 18th – 24th April, with a special open evening on Tuesday 23rd April.
Sixteen young people have worked towards a Level 1 Arts Award and the completed pieces are a fine collection of oil landscapes and acrylic portraits. This course and the opportunity to display their work, has provided these students a chance to feel proud of their work and to begin to realise their potential.
Romsey Mill’s Alternative Education programme supports young people, 13 - 16, who have struggled to engage with mainstream school. It offers a range of courses and positive learning experiences to help young people increase their confidence, skills and aspirations.
