12 days: "An absolute haven." Aspire Parent

< Back to listing

“What a difference the Aspire group has made to Rebecca*. She has gone from having no friends to having friends in the girls group, who she looks forward to seeing and who are at the same emotional level as her so she’s able to be herself. She won’t go to parties with girls of her own age or social events but always looks forward to Aspire. She has grown in confidence and is generally happier, many thanks.”

“It is an absolute haven for children on the autistic spectrum, where they can relax and enjoy an evening with likeminded friends”.

The Aspire Programme is a lifeline for autistic young people and their families. It is a place they can feel accepted and know that they are not alone. It provides social opportunities and embraces young people for who they are and who they want to be.
