Successful transition crucial

< Back to listing

‘My work brings me into contact with the criminal justice system and a lot of social issues.

I am convinced that a successful transition to secondary school and continued engagement of children in school at secondary level is crucial in order to avoid a lot of the issues with young people in the criminal justice system and their social disengagement, which costs our society a huge amount of money and pain. I'm certain that the work carried out by Romsey Mill’s youth workers is instrumental in avoiding this.’
